What's more, this source says Mass Effect 3 will feature some kind of multiplayer mode, a first for the series. What this source couldn't confirm, though, is whe ther the VGA reveal will highlight the multiplayer or not.

It was also previously rumored that the game would be a Mass Effect spin-off that was specifically multiplayer playstation move gun focused...so perhaps if BioWare was at some point planning to make such a game, they simply decided to roll the multiplayer features into Mass Effect 3?

The Xbox 360 is the best-selling home console for the sixth consecutive month thanks to the successful launch of the Kinect, but the Wii isn't far behind.

Microsoft revealed today that 1.37 million Xbox 360s were sold over the course of November. These numbers continue a strong a year for Microsoft, which has seen the Xbox 360's year-to-date sales growth 42 percent, and the NPD Group noted in its report that the Kinect is the top-selling accessory "in terms of dollar sales on a year-to-date basis."
